On August 26, 2019, I turned 33. That’s right it was my Jesus Year and I was determined to make the best of it. I am a newlywed, I celebrated a year of marriage to the love of my life this past April. I am a Memphis, TN native and I have to tell you I feel like I am truly getting to the best part of my life in my thirties. When I was a kid, I wanted to be a writer, so I majored in communications in college. I have written in a million journals since high school, but overtime I lost sight of my childhood dream…
I am taking a stand to be more intentional about making time for the things I truly enjoy.
Here I want to share my personal growth stories and experiences, but I also want to share the stories of other young women that will encourage you to move forward with your passion projects. I enjoy having the security of a 9 to 5, but I have also realized sometimes you have to create your dream job outside of work. I want to share stories of women who have created their own opportunities.
